1. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Workshop's Resource Person : Mr Rajesh Kumar Srivastav

An online session was conducted wherein around 156 participants participated. And shared information about effective classroom management. Resource person explained about the importance of classroom management. He explained about the meaning of classroom management as the actions taken by teachers to create an environment that supports and facilitates both academic and social emotional aspects of the student.

2. ANGER MANAGEMENT

Workshop's Resource Person : Dr. Mausam Sinha

An online session was conducted wherein around 160 participants participated and gathered information about how to control our Anger. Resource person gave many examples of situations where we get angry with our family members, relatives, kids, friends and with students too. He shared many solutions of controlling the feeling of Anger.

3. HAPPY CLASSROOM

Workshop's Resource Person : Dr. Manisha Sharma

An online session was conducted wherein around 150 participants participated. The resource person explained how to be calm, optimistic, affirmative and a good listener as a teacher. She explained how to manage healthy relationship between a teacher and student. She gave us examples of how students behave in the class and then what we must do at that time.

4. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Workshop's Resource Person : Ms. Kirti Tandon

An online session was conducted wherein around 140 participants participated. The resource person discussed about the current methods commonly followed during lock down days and appreciated the efforts done by the schools and teachers. She discussed how we can prepare online tests for the students. Also she told us about an Eclipse app from which we can create Crosswords for the students.

5. LIFE SKILLS

Workshop's Resource Person : Mr. Rajesh Kumar Srivastav

It was a very fruitful and interactive session attended by 150 participants. Output of the meeting was that, as a teacher we can use these skills in our teachings as well as inculcate the values in our students through our teachings. Before planning our lessons we should inform students about the life skill associated with it and the use of it in our life.

WORKSHOP ON NABET ACCREDITATION STANDARD

Workshop's Resource Person : Dr. Sheela Ragavan

A comprehensive presentation on how The School shall establish A Self - assessment / Internal Audit process to periodically and effectively assess the compliance of the standard. Resource person shared some Steps for conducting Self-Assessment like: School management to introduce appropriate methodology to make regular assessment of the performance of various processes; The process to be documented; Personnel are to be trained to carry out self – assessed.

6. HAPPY CLASSROOM

Workshop's Resource Person : Mr Rajesh Kumar Srivastav

This online session was attended by 70-80 participants. The whole session was full of energy , enthusiasm an positive attitude towards the teacher processes and also for the teacher student relationship. All the agendas of workshop was explained with the help of some activity like involving teachers in the self realization activity by closing their eyes and think of a situation and after those full enthusiastic results were explained by activities.

7. INCLUSION AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

A One Day Capacity Building Training Workshop was conducted. It was conducted on highly intense topic of -Inclusive and Inclusion Education. Resource person shed the light on the Behavioral changes and strategic exploration towards elicitation of varied potential in all children who are the diverse learners.

9.ADOLESCENCE EDUCATION

In this workshop, the resource person established a long term collaboration of Adolescent sociality in India with particular focus on adolescent social network and adolescent communication. He articulated his views and opinion about Adolescence and Adolescents; described the difference between gender and Sex; explained various aspects of a school that makes it a child friendly school and much more.

10. GENDER SENSITIVITY

This online session was conducted to create Awareness about Gender Sensitivity. Resource person explained about the difference between gender of a child and sex of a child. She stressed that child is born with a particular sex and gender is a socially constructed and learned behaviour. Various terms like gender blindness, gender awareness, gender sensitiveness, gender empowerment etc were explained. It' was explained how to teach students about the gender without differentiating in between boys and girls.

This online webinar was conducted by Action Committee for discussing some major problems that everyone is facing during this crucial Lockdown time. Major Points Discussed in the meeting included: Teachers salary, Teachers increment, Students' fees, Fee hikes and Salaries of unwanted employees when there is no work for them.

12.WEBINAR BY MR. S.C. SHARMA ON CHANGE IN QUESTION PAPER PATTERN, DRR AND DRI, NPO

This online session was conducted for discussing few things related to Accountancy syllabus. This included:

  • 1.Change in the question paper pattern.
  • 2.Proposed dividend is changed
  • 3.Source based question to be updated when CBSE issues a sample paper
  • 4.Change in marking of each chapter of Class XI.
  • 5.Small discussion on Interim dividend.

13. CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM ON PATHWAYS TO CRITICAL THINKING

Attended by 70-80 people, the session was divided into 4 Agendas: 1. Design Thinking, 2. The process of Design Thinking, 3. Application of Design Thinking, 4. Design Thinking tools and Routines. The workshop was wonderful and all the participants were able to understand the various stages of design thinking.

14.CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM ON LIFE SKILLS

This online session was attended by around 150 participants. The workshop covered issues central to any student's life, like Effective Communication (Listening & Hearing), Social Skills & Etiquette, Positive Attitude, Setting Goals and Time Management. Various engaging activities were conducted and examples were shared with the teachers to help them understand the importance of these key life skills and values.

15. DESIGN THINKING

The online session was conducted on the theme Design Thinking which encourages creation, innovation and application of ideas. Design Thinking helps in problem solving and gives an approach which we can apply in any area of our life.

16. CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM ON HAPPY CLASSROOM

The session was attended by around 70-80 participants and was divided into 3 Agendas: Segment A: Emotional Intelligence, Strategies for Self Regulation, Segment B: Integration of Happiness in Classroom; Activates Happiness in the Classroom, Segment C: Focus on Feelings in Classroom, Not just on Content.

  • 3. Addressing social barriers through students visibility by sharing their work and creating opportunities for sharing and interaction.

The theme of the webinar was, "How school education helps students to become a better person in their personal and social levels." In this webinar the resource person discussed about the different types of value education and how teachers directly approach students to provide them value education. The main agenda of the words shop is to highlight the main points of sustainable development goal (SDG).

The theme of the webinar was Bloom's Taxonomy and Questioning Techniques. It was a one and half hour training workshop for the teachers on Bloom's Taxonomy and the questioning techniques in assessment. The resource person explained the three domains of learning i.e. Cognitive, Affective and Psycho Motor Domain.
